My Cleaning Activity For Wednesday 27th of March, 2024.

Good morning my fellow Hivers, welcome to my blog. I visited a neighbouring community today. The place was been linked to my community by a plank. I walked over the plank into the community. I noticed that the place had been littered with different wastes such as plastic bottles, sachet of water, polythene, wraps of biscuits and sweets, papers etc. I collected the waste into a garbage bag and disposed it properly.
Refuse dumped indiscriminately into waterbodies or within the community are carried into the drains, they block the drains and it results in flooding. The flood then results in erosion.

The street in the community had been destroyed by erosion. The topsoil had also been washed away by running water. Play your part to maintain a clean, safe and habitable environment where there is a serene environment for healthy development. It is horrifying that we have to fight our government to save the environment —Ansel Adams
