It My Cleaning Exercise For Monday, the 12th of February, 2024
Good morning everyone, welcome to my blog. There have been blackouts in my area that have been hindering me from posting. I had to wake up early in the morning to carry out my activity. I did my cleaning in the park behind my house. The place had been littered with different wastes such as polythene, plastic bottles, sachet of water, paper etc.

These problems of indiscriminate dumping of refuse are prevalent because of the following reasons.
Limited public awareness and education on the importance of proper waste management practices

Insufficient infrastructure for waste collection, transportation, and disposal
Inadequate enforcement of regulations and policies related to waste management
Lack of collaboration and cooperation between different stakeholders involved in waste management, including government agencies, private entities, and local communities

Shortage of trained personnel and skilled workforce in the waste management sector

Challenges in recycling and resource recovery due to the lack of proper facilities and technology;

Illegal dumping and waste smuggling activities that undermine proper waste management efforts;

Limited investment in research and development for innovative waste management solutions;

Political and bureaucratic obstacles that hinder the implementation of effective waste management strategies;

Inadequate funding and support for waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
We need to take care of the environment, because cleanliness is next to godliness.
