And people still complain they are doing poorly if the payout per post sucks. Like 10$ in 4 years is already far better than the average hobby blogger (earns them around cents to a dollar once they get past the 3 year threshold) and more than half the time, most drop the habit within a year.

This. I wasn't really invested in the my own local community, it had the prevalent problems of being inclusive us or them. Glad by serendipity I checked on Steemcleaners discord back then to have this program brought up on a random conversation.
