Deserted Highway - Monomad Challenge

Hello lovely Hiveans !

Today I want to enter the #monomad challenge with a monochrome picture of a deserted highway and allocated bridge that I took in my hometown. The picture was taken in the beginning of the Covid Era and the interplay between the absence of activity in combination with monochrome colors looks so suiting and appealing for me - I hope you like it ^^

The picture shows a highway that usually is stuffed with cars, as it is the highway that start in the city center, passes the University and leads to a variety of Autobahn roads. But the highway is completely deserted during this time .. I knew this place as a loud one with a lot of motion that were missing at this time, as well as a lot of sound. But that day, with no wind or anything around it was so super quit there .. I find this scenery so characteristic for the time and in monochrome it is even magnifies the deserted impression ^^

The bridge over the Highway was deserted too. Only one person can be seen there, going out on a walk though the empty area, probably enjoying the silence of the Corona Era too, as I was .. It felt a bit strange to walk around while everything transmitted an impression of being deserted and empty, nearly like a walk through the ruins of a ghost town .. But I personally found it quite enjoyable and relaxing, as if the pressure and the pushing speed of society was suddenly removed ^^
