A few days without stopping by, but not because of that I have been inactive, although I was sick for a few days last week and it showed in the plants that need to be watered regularly, but before that I managed to plant another of the corrugated leaf cretonas in the garden, this time with greater ease, as my son helped me to open the hole with his pickaxe.

My mother had her gardening pickaxe, but we had kept it so well, that we were not sure where it was, but on Saturday we found it, so now I have one, just for my gardening work, such as making the holes for transplanting or removing the soil from the compost bin to which I have added some chopped pumpkin and banana shells, as well as dry leaves.

On the other hand, I made a prank, because, although I have a small jade tree, this one seems not to be very well, on the one hand, I believe that the problem is that I have watered it in excess and to complete I believe that the soil of its pot does not allow a good drainage of water. Thinking of solutions, I have opted to give it its space, plus I talk to this jade and mention to it how happy it will make me to see it grow, sprout and see it as beautiful as I have seen other jades. And secondly I have stopped watering it so often, I will water it every 15 days.

In this same order of ideas, a few weeks ago watering the plants in the gardens, I noticed that in the window of an apartment that is currently alone, since the lady who lived there, went to live with her children, there is a huge and very beautiful jade, its leaves are raised upwards and the shape of them looks different plus the edge of those leaves looks a reddish hue.

So, a few days later, commenting with some colleagues in the office who also love plants, they told me that this jade in theory is female and give flowers, that was going around in my head and last week while watering the plants in the garden, almost at midnight I took a branch of this jade with the gardening shears that my mother had and now I plant it and I hope to see the results.

While I am writing these lines I am thinking if I take the opportunity to plant in my mother's garden the colored cretona that I had at home because I had to take it out of the window because the lack of light had affected it. And also the fact that some people see that the area is being cared for, planting new plants, cleaning and removing the dead, will help to scare away the abusers who have taken plants and want to dispose of the space.

Algunos días sin pasar por acá, pero no por ello he estado inactiva, aunque estuve unos días de la semana pasada enferma y se notó en las plantas que requieren ser regadas con regularidad, pero antes de ello logré sembrar otra de las cretonas de hojas corrugadas en el jardín, esta vez con mayor facilidad, ya que mi hijo me ayudó a abrir el hueco con su piqueta.

Mi madre tenía, su piqueta para jardinería, pero la habíamos guardado tan bien, que no estábamos seguros de donde estaba, pero el sábado dimos con ella, así que ya tengo una, solo para mis labores de jardinería, como hacer los hoyos para trasplantar o remover la tierra del compostero al que le he agregado algunas conchas picadas de auyama y plátano, además de hojas secas

Por otro lado, hice una travesura, pues, aunque tengo un pequeño árbol de jade, este parece no estar muy bien, por una parte, creo que el problema es que lo he regado en exceso y para completar creo que la tierra de su maceta no permite un buen drenaje de agua. Pensado en soluciones, he optado por darle su espacio, además de que hablar con este jade y hacerle mención de lo feliz que me hará verlo crecer, retoñar y verlo tan hermoso como he visto otros jades. Y segundo he dejado de regarle tan seguido, lo regaré cada 15 días.

En este mismo orden de ideas, hace unas semanas regando las plantas de los jardines, note que en la ventana de un apartamento que actualmente está solo, ya que a la señora que allí vivía, se fue a vivir con sus hijos, hay un jade enorme y muy hermoso, sus hojas se levantan hacia arriba y la forma de las mismas luce diferente además de que la orilla de esas hojas luce un tono rojizo.

Así, unos días después comentando con algunos compañeros de la oficina que también aman la plantas, estos me comentaron que ese jade en teoría es hembra y dan flores, aquello quedo dando vueltas en mi cabeza y la semana pasada mientras regaba las platas de los jardines, casi a media noche tome una rama de este jade con las tijeras de jardinería que tenía mi madre y ya lo plante y espero ver los resultados.

Mientras escribo estas líneas estoy pensando en si aprovecho para sembrar en el jardín de mi madre la cretona de colores que tenía en casa porque tuve que sacarla a la ventana porque la falta de luz la había afectado. Y además el que algunas personas vean que se le está haciendo un cariño a esa zona, sembrando plantas nuevas, limpiando y quitando lo muerto, ayudara a espantar a los abusadores que se han llevado plantas y pretenden disponer del espacio.
