RE: Is Orca Still a Thing?

It is :) but I think since vests make HP inflate its equivalent in VESTS may have shifted a tad higher than just 50k, but I'm not sure if people care about that anymore as it's easier to just count 50k HP as an orca. only 10x left to whale status I believe at 500k HP!
Early congrats on getting there!
May I suggest one thing now that I stumbled upon this post on my feed and looked at your HP activity?
I realize dlease offers nice returns but it begs the question as to why those returns are higher than other curation projects or tokens on hive-engine, one of those reasons is that most if not all of the leased HP is misused to maximize rewards taken from the rewardpool between a small group of users. I'm sure many other curators can back me on that as they're all aware of the main leasers and what their history is. So my suggestion would be that maybe delegating to other projects may yield you slightly smaller returns but in terms of the health of curation and distribution and the ecosystem it might give better returns long term which I know you're someone who focuses on that after all these years.
Anyway, hope you been well. Not trying to tell you what to do but I'm sure you've probably wondered why their APR is so much higher and where that must be coming from. (not to mention that dlease itself is a middleman with 10%+ fees)
Thanks for the feedback! I have been looking at ways to come back and engaging more often. After the changes years ago with curation, I could never get on top of ways to improve with projects although I continued delegating to a couple that I enjoyed sharing with the community. I have a list of communities to engage with to find the best path forward for me to adapt with and surely not optimizing the ecosystem as much as I should. I woll surely be reaching out to OCD as they were a large part of my wanting to grow my account. I am still proud to stay I have never sold HIVE out right and have powered it all up so far!
Yeah, been nice to see you grow, wish more people did the same :)
Hope you'll find the time and interest to be more active as well, curating yourself would be most optimal but I realize many are busy and thus I'd rather they delegate to curation projects that return the rewards and are trusted to use the voting power well compared to some other projects where there is no transparency or reputation on the line of what they do with it.
This is the type of interaction that I miss and felt went away at a certain point so appreciate you taking the time to do so. I will definitely take this into consideration as I have already made up my mind to invest time once again given what seems to be another accumulation opportunity occurring. Thanks to you and the community!
