Three Tune Tuesday - Nov 08 2022
After a week of absence, here I am again to share with you my 4th post on @ablaze's - #threetunetuesday. Today I bring you again three pieces from my favorite collection and I hope they are to your liking.
Después de una semana de ausencia, aquí estoy nuevamente para compartir con ustedes mi 4a entrada en la de @ablaze - #threetunetuesday. Hoy les traigo nuevamente tres piezas de mi lista de favoritas y espero que sean de su agrado.
I told you in my last post that my musical taste is wide, but my musical ear leans heavily towards Jazz. The first piece I bring you - Pick Up The Pieces - today is an original Rock piece from the Average White Band, but it's a Jazzy adaptation performed by Candy Dulfer in concert. Ready to dance?
Les dije que en mi publicación pasada que mis gustos musicales son, pero mi oido musical se inclina fuertemente hacía el Jazz. La primera pieza que les traigo - Pick Up The Pieces - es original de la Average White Band, pero es una adaptación interpretada por Candy Dulfer en concierto. ¿Listos para bailar?
The second piece is Sade's classic from the 80's - Your Love Is King. It's a piece for lovers that never gets old. Sade simply seduces with her velvety voice and interpretation - not only of this piece but of every song she performs. And of course, great saxophone accompaniment.
La segunda pieza es un clásico de Sade de los años 80 - Your Love Is King. Es una pieza para enamorados que nunca pasa de monda. Sade simplemente seduce con su voz aterciopelada e interpretación - no solo de esta pieza sino de toda canción que interpreta. Y por su puesto, gran acopañamiento del saxofón.
Finally, another classic, but this time a Brazilian one from the 60s. It's a Bossa Nova piece by Sergio Mendes - Mas Que Nada. I love everything about this piece. The jazzy combination and the strong Samba influence resulted in a sound that is joyful but peaceful and comforting at the same time. Every time I listen to it, it gives me a good vibe and puts me in a good mood. Enjoy it!
Finalmente, otro clásico, pero en esta ocasión uno brasileño de los años 60. Es una pieza de Bossa Nova de Sergio Mendes - Mas Que Nada. Todo de esta pieza me encanta. La combinación jazzistica y la fuerte influencia de Samba resultaron en un sonido alegre pero apacible y reconfortante a la misma vez. Cada vez que la escucho me contagia buena vibra y me pone de buen humor. Disfrútenla!
