Went to a slightly further food centre for lunch recently. Saw a carrot cake stall which I hadn't try.

why is it called carrot cake?
i was expecting something like

haha, we have that too but this is more like a local food which originates from Chinese source.
We called it carrot cake too. They are made from turnip/radish which we refer to as white carrot.
Then the "cake" is sliced to small pieces and fried with beaten eggs.
