My mother-in-law spoilt her water jug sometime back. It was a plastic one and she absentmindedly pour in hot water. That brought me search for a new solution. A glass one won't get melted by hot water but is breakable if it drops. So, I went to Lazada to search for solution and found a stainless steel one and bought it in September 2021 at less than $9 without having to pay shipping fee.

我岳母在前些时候心把她的水壶弄坏了。 那是一个塑料的，她心不在焉地倒进了热水。 所以我开始找新的解决办法。 玻璃杯不会被热水融化，但如果掉在地上就会破碎。 于是，我去 Lazada 找解决的办法，找到了一个不锈钢的，并在 2021 年 9 月以不到 9 元的价格购买了，无需支付运费。

It was delivered about two weeks later and the box came quite crushed.

Fortunately, what's inside survived the rough journey. They had been using at the inlaws for sometime and it is working quite well so problem solved. 😎
