It was a nice Friday morning as as went to workplace this morning. Any day that starts off seeing the sun is a nice morning.

Back in the office, I found someone left me some red packets envelopes which is another reminder the Chinese New Year is coming. I saw the supermarket today had a countdown. 25 days more.

回到办公室，我发现有人给我留了一些红包信封，这又是一个提醒农历新年快到了。我今天看到超市倒数。还有25天。

I went out for lunch at Chinatown for lunch after a meeting in the morning. There were quite a bit of people walking around.

早上开会后，我去牛车水吃午饭。走来走去的人还真不少。

I bought a quick lunch at Chinatown food centre which was this char siew and roast pork rice.

我在牛车水熟中心买了一份快午餐，就是叉烧烧肉饭。

In the evening, I went to the bank which was already closed but my wife and I know a banker whom we had an appointment to change new notes without going through the hassle of making appointment online or queueing at the branch.

晚上，我去了已经关门的银行，但我和太太认识一位银行职员，我们预约了换新钞票，而无需经过网上预约或在分行排队的麻烦。

Looking for dinner on Friday evening for #marketfriday by @dswigle. I suggested to go Subway after walking around a bit with my wife and stopping there to see they have a new meat-free chicke schintzel. I wanted to try that.

周五晚上找晚餐。我跟太太建议去赛百味。然后停在外面，看到他们有一个新的无肉炸鸡肉排三明治。我想试试。

They had other new option like a seafood patty sub which my wife was considering.

他们还有其他新选择，比如太太在考虑的海鲜肉饼。

In the end, she settled for something we both had not tried. Toasties. You can mix and match of two different types for the $4.50. That's too bad.

最后，她选择了我们都没有尝试过。吐司。您可以混合搭配两种不同类型的但就没有优惠价$4.50 。这不太好。

So she chose two chicken ham and cheese.

I opened up my sandwich which was loaded with all the veggies and hot pepper sauce to take a look. The hot pepper sauce was not very spicy. The "chicken" does taste like a chicken patty.

The drink I got was lychee flavored Fanta which I couldn't find else where easily.

After dinner, we were walking in the bus interchange and saw so many people queueing for buses. Omicron. I mean Oh My God.

吃完晚饭，我们走在公车转换站，看到很多人在排队等公车。奥米克戎应该会借此传播。
