Talking about sales is talking about something that we practice on a daily basis, whether we work in sales or not, whether we are selling at all times: a product, a service, an idea, anything, and we do it with anyone, from a client even with our children.

To understand what sales are, we can define it as the activity in which the parties participate, both the buyer and the seller, and an activity is held in which one of the parties receives an economic compensation and the other its need, In short, we can say that both parties win in this process.

If we talk about sales as a more complex definition, we should also include here the set of tactics and strategies that allow the transfer of goods and services, here the market intervenes whose need is supplied by suppliers and intermediaries.

For the consumer or the client, sales is that process in which the seller or supplier attends to the needs of the consumer or client, discovering how to satisfy said need with a certain product or service. And for the seller it is a process in which he transmits all the information to the consumer or buyer in order to show him that his product or service as well as an idea meets his need.

Hablar de ventas es hablar de algo que practicamos a diario, ya sea si trabajamos en ventas o no, en si en todo momento estamos vendiendo: un producto, un servicio, una idea, cualquier cosa, y lo hacemos con cualquier persona, desde un cliente hasta con nuestros hijos.

Para comprender que son las ventas, lo podemos definir como la actividad en la que intervienen las partes, tanto el comprador como el vendedor, y se celebra una actividad en la que una de las partes recibe una retribución económica y la otra su su necesidad, en resumidas palabras podemos decir que las dos partes ganan en dicho proceso.

Si hablamos de ventas como definición más compleja, deberíamos involucrar también aquí el conjunto de tácticas y estrategias qué permite la transferencia de bienes y servicios, aquí se interviene el mercado cuya necesidad es suplida por proveedores e intermediarios.

Para el consumidor o el cliente las ventas es ese proceso en que el vendedor o proveedor atiende a las necesidades del consumidor o cliente descubriendo cómo satisfacer dicha necesidad con determinado producto o servicio. Y para el vendedor es un proceso en el que transmite toda la información al consumidor o comprador con el fin de demostrarle que su producto o servicio así como una idea suple su necesidad.
