A Special Weekend Gift From My Eldest Son

Hello hive friends, especially friends of the #TheWeekend community. I hope you all are well. Yesterday we all as a family felt very happy because we got a surprise from my eldest son at school. There are some photos of happy moments at school that I took with my cell phone camera, but there are not many. Hopefully these photos can be enjoyed by all of my friends.

It started when I fulfilled the invitation from the Class 2 Principal of the Sukma Bangsa Elementary School, Lhokseumawe to take the Student Learning Outcome Report Book from my eldest son, for his learning achievements in the odd semester of 2021.

Initially I received the invitation on Wednesday, December 15 through a short message in the Whatsapp Group whose members consisted of parents of Class 2 students at the Sukma Bangsa Elementary School, Lhokseumawe. In the short message it was written that we parents of Class 2 students are required to attend school on Saturday, December 17, 2021, at 08.00 am - 12.00 pm to pick up the 2021 Odd Semester Student Progress Report Book.

Then yesterday, on Saturday morning, December 18 at 10.00 am, the weather was a little cloudy at that time, I rushed to take my eldest son to school together, and upon arrival at school we went straight to the 2nd grade of SD Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe. In the classroom, my eldest son and I were greeted with a very friendly smile by the Class 2 homeroom teacher and then we were invited to sit down.

After talking for a while, then the Class 2 homeroom teacher congratulated me on the extraordinary achievement of my eldest son "Zahid" in this odd semester. He got an overall score of "A" for all subjects taught in Class 2, therefore Zahid received the title of "Best Students" out of a total of 24 Class 2 students. Qur'an memorization extracurricular in Class 2. When I listened carefully to this explanation from the Class 2 homeroom teacher, my heart was so touched with joy and happiness. I then expressed my infinite gratitude to the homeroom teacher for her services for guiding my child, then excused myself to go home.

Arriving at home, I then kissed the forehead and head of my eldest son and thanked him for making his parents proud. Zahid is indeed a diligent child at home, diligent in reading and also diligent in helping his mother. He is also very excited to go to school. Do not forget I also promised him to give him a reward for all these achievements, namely I will take him to go on vacation to the beach. He once told me that he had wanted to play and bathe at the beach again with his younger siblings. The other day when I went to the beach with him, I was just passing by and taking photos. It was a very happy weekend for our family, Thank you my son Zahid !!
