I just finished a book called AI 2041, the mostly focis on the positive techs that will emerge. Maybe not metaverse specifically, but there is already AI and social media involved in conflict, so if you believe the early metaverse is here, it's already happening on the metaverse. In 20 years humans won't be able to keep up.

That sounds like an interesting book.
Yeah the social and AI are involved in conflicts but it would be good if t did t affect the real world, like really push the entire context of war into call of duty on the metaverse and turn it into the Olympics. I really think the masses can't even keep up with the tech now so I can just imagine in a few years time.
War needs to have an economic, social and political inpact, otherwise it is just a simulation. I agree, we could do without the violence.
Also AI judges will take nationalism out of the equation and wars will be fought in seconds.
The Korean cultural minister just suggested having a culture olympics to the IOC head Bach, Im not sure if thats a good idea knowing East Asian nationalism, but it's interesting to think about.
No doubt even a simulation would have political , social and economic impact and at some point the lines may get blurred but it is interesting to think about.
A cultural Olympics sounds interesting but it would be so hard to choose winners as cultures are so diverse but it I an interesting concept. An international dance competition…… the world wouldn’t stand a chance against the K-POP crew 😂
