The Hive Engagement League
This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:
- Posts (P)
- Comments (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments outside of own posts (CO)
- Unique Author posts (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE (SV)

A nice set of numbers for the week. 399 scored this week, just one shy of 400, so that is a pretty good active week. My numbers improved slightly this week, just enough to hit one of he sweet spot numbers. I have not made the 42nd before 40 and 43 but not 42, so a new number under my belt. One day I might go on a comment spree and try for number 1, but for now, I like just trying to get an average of 70 comments a week out. Some days that is not easy to do.
I didn't think I'd bumped into you before for #42, @bashadow and yes, I'd say that's an active week all right! 😎

I pop in briefly all over the place on Hive (and Twitter, and Discord, and... 😂), but most of those at the top of the chart (as I'm sure you know!) tend to have long conversations with many others on chain.
One of these days, when I'm not busy
running around in circles going nowhereon traditional social media, I might just knuckle down and give these chatty peeps a run for their money. And yes, I'm looking at that guy who hit #1 this week specifically... 😁Do so, i would like to step down, if you dont know, im engaging so i lose less HP per week beacause im doing a powedown, because i need money for the birth of my child, basically im posting every day, doing all i can to get a grip at some extra cash so i can get the money for the chilbirth cost, and im still 150$ short (including my current HBD) :S so i do all i can daily, im working overtime and burning my self up xD
So if you want to, go pls do win, because it would ignite some competitivity <3, making it something more significant that a crazy hunt for any ammount of money i can get my hands on.
Much as I'd love to take you up on your challenge, @jesustiano, I know it would be near to impossible for me to attempt it any time in the next few weeks or so. However, I do have something in mind that might be a bit of fun, with some prizes attached, that won't be as time-intensive for me as topping the HEL. I'll be sure to let you know if/when I get it put together. 😊

At first I questioned the value this kind of posts is bringing to the platform, but I can see that it increases engagement so it may be good
Well it's been running for 3.5 years now without too many complains so I guess that's a good thing.
Distributing 50 HIVE (or STEEM in the past) each week isn't bad either.
