FungiFriday : Agaric Fungus (Psathyrella)

avatar

Hello FungiFriday lovers! It's great to be on another Friday again with this lovely community. For the 4th week of the FungiFriday challenge, I am gladly coming up with some fascinating mushrooms that like to grow in the shady spot. It happened to be on one afternoon when I decided to go the wood to have fun with the mushroom hunt, and there, in someone's land, I spotted these mushrooms which later known, if I am not mistaken (CMIIW), as Psathyrella piluliformis, species of agaric fungus in the family Psathyrellaceae. Having reddish-brown color, make it easy to be spotted even they are smaller than other common mushrooms. They are generally tan until the spores mature when the gills turn dark brown. I found them growing on rotten banana trees somewhere around the shady spot. These pics of mushrooms are my next #FungiFriday challenge that is initiated by @ewkaw.
