Octopus is from a Greek word októpus which mean “eight foot”. They are creature from the ocean and they are the most mysterious creature in the ocean ot sea. They are interesting creature with eight arms and bulbous head, unlike other animals and human being they have three heart and blue blood, they are also very intelligent i.e they are smart. Octopuses are of different sizes one of the big octopuses are 16 feet tall, 5 meters long, weigh 110 lbs(50kg). Most of them live close to the water in a shell while some live on the floor of the ocean, Octopuses also goes out fot hunting, somr species hunt in the day time while some hunt in the night. During hunting in the night if they get scared or are been attacked they shoot out “ink” which is a liquid dark substance to blind or confuse whoever is attacking them, giving them time to swim off. The most interesting part is they can change their color to match with their surrounding, they can turn to different color like black, blue, pink and so on, they can also changr to resemble dangerous animals. Their soft bodies means they can fit into any small holes, they can also arm to an attacker and regrow one later

Talking about the three heart and the blood of Octopus. The heart of Octopus have different function, one of the heart pumps blood through its organs while the other two pump blood through its gills. As earlier discussed the blood of Octopus is blue and the reason is because it has copper based protein which can be refer to ad hemocyanin and the likely reason Octopus prefer not to swim but to crawl is because when they swim the heart that pumps blood to the organs stop beating.

These are my little discovering about Octopus 🐙 an interesting animal to know more about and i believe you enjoy it and love to know even more better than i do thank you guys.......
