Coffee before training?

IMG_1157.JPG

I started training at home again a few weeks ago. My smart phone got wind of it and started showing me advertisements regarding those topics (we already know that those devices listen to us) and one of them referred to simple foods to consume before and after workouts, depending on whether we wanted to lose or gain muscle mass. And there was coffee as a natural energizer before training! Why?

I must confess that I don't remember the post I read, nor did I do deep research on the topic to write my post today. So I'm speaking to you from my experience, as just another human looking to keep a sedentary lifestyle at bay by exercising at home.

I learned that caffeine gives us energy, so it makes sense that we consume it to face a workout where it does us good that little help. I've tried different times, but I like to drink my coffee about 5 to 10 minutes before I start my warm-up. How much do I drink? Just a cup. For the photo I used a small cup as a sample, remember my mug broke.

Besides, I'm sure you know that caffeine consumption is associated with the production of endorphin, that substance that helps us feel good, happy. Doctors suggest us to exercise precisely for that, don't they? And I really feel great when I'm on top of my workouts. So, if I drink coffee before, I'll feel even better! It makes sense. In my case, it helps me in that time.

I can't say for sure 100%, but I have the feeling that when I drink coffee I feel less fatigued at the end of my workouts. I don't know if it's the residual effect of the caffeine or that I'm actually having some other additional effect. Maybe the fact that I consume that hot beverage is also helping me warm up my muscles and even perspiration. I asked my personal trainer (i.e. myself) and he said he will look into that soon and give me the answer.

I drink that coffee dark and unsweetened. How much should each person drink? How long does the caffeine really take effect? Well, that is up to medicine and the experts in this field. But it is working very well for me, and I want to continue using it.

In short, I'm drinking coffee before training at home and I think it helps me to have energy, feel good and reduce fatigue. Thanks smartphone for spying on me and giving me information like this, see you next time!

All my mornings start with coffee ☕☕ which is my natural stimulant, to help me face my daily activities.
I have had coffee before training and it works well for me, I can't do it constantly, since my workouts are mostly in the afternoons and if I drink coffee in the afternoon, it causes insomnia, I can't abuse it, sleep is restorative and necessary ☺️

I loved this🤭:

I asked my personal trainer (i.e. myself) and he said he would look into it soon and give me the answer.

Tell your personal trainer, please find out soon and let us know, I will be in the loop, you mention me please, and immediately read🤗🥰.

Consider that if you take it in the afternoon before training you will also have some fatigue at the end of the day, and that may compensate for the dose of caffeine you consumed. Think about it. I'll talk to that trainer. I'll talk to that trainer. You know, some of them are very strict... 😜 Greetings @neilamarcano
