15 forecasts for 2020 - 15 Prognosen für 2020

Below I list a few (more or less) bold theses for the coming year:

Politics

  • Pete Buttigieg wins the Democratic primary elections in the US.
  • Donald Trump wins the presidential election in November 2020.
  • Angela Merkel steps down as Chancellor - officially for reasons of personal health, unofficially due to internal party pressure (to give her successor time to present herself as "Chancellor Material").
  • The Brexit actually happens.
  • There will be no (relevant) trade deal between the US and China.

Economy

  • The dollar continues to rise, from the current 96.80 to over 100 (https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/index/dxy?mod=watchlist_ticker).
  • The Dow Jones rises from the current $ 28,645 to over 33,000 (but could afterwards drop lower just as quickly).
  • A large European bank (e.g. HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, UniCredit, BNP Paribas, Santander) becomes insolvent and must be bailed out.

Crypto

  • Bitcoin hits $ 30,000 during the year.
  • Bitcoin's dominance continues to increase, from currently 68.2% to over 75%.
  • Steem rises from 78th place to the top 50 again (https://coinmarketcap.com/).
  • Steem reaches 2 million accounts in total (currently 1.35 million) - very daring, I know ...

Others

  • Croatia will win the European football championship.
  • Protests / demonstrations continue to increase in number and violence (Hong Kong, Yellow Vest Movement, etc.)
  • I will continue to accumulate bitcoins and Steems (stacking sats) and become an Orca.

Nachfolgend stelle ich ein paar (mehr oder weniger) gewagte Thesen für das kommende Jahr auf:

Politik

  • Pete Buttigieg gewinnt die Vorwahlen der Demokraten in den US.
  • Donald Trump gewinnt die Präsidentschaftswahlen im November 2020.
  • Angela Merkel tritt im Laufe des Jahres als Bundeskanzler zurück - offiziell aus gesundheitlichen Gründen, inoffiziell wegen innerparteilichem Druck (um dem/der Nachfolger/in Zeit zu geben, sich als "Kanzlermaterial" zu präsentieren).
  • Der Brexit findet tatsächlich statt.
  • Es wird keinen (relevanten) Trade Deal zwischen den USA und China geben.

Ökonomie

  • Der Dollar steigt weiter, von aktuell 96.80 auf über 100 (https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/index/dxy?mod=watchlist_ticker).
  • Der Dow Jones steigt von aktuell 28'645 USD auf über 33'000 (könnte aber auch ebenso schnell wieder tiefer fallen).
  • Eine grosse europäische Bank (z.B. HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, UniCredit, BNP Parisbas, Santander) wird insolvent und muss gerettet werden.

Crypto

  • Bitcoin erreicht im Laufe des Jahres 30'000$.
  • Die Bitcoin-Dominanz steigt weiter, von aktuell 68,2% auf über 75%.
  • Steem steigt von Platz 78 wieder in die Top 50 auf (https://coinmarketcap.com/).
  • Steem erreicht 2 Millionen Accounts total (aktuell 1.35 Mio.) - sehr gewagt, ich weiss...

Sonstiges

  • Fussball-Europameister wird Kroatien.
  • Proteste/Demonstrationen nehmen weiter zu (Hongkong, Gelbe Westen, usw.)
  • Ich werde weiter Bitcoins und Steems akkumulieren (stacking sats) und zum Orca werden.

Kroatien wird Europameister

Glaube ich eher nicht.

Eine grosse europäische Bank (z.B. HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, UniCredit, BNP Parisbas, Santander) wird insolvent und muss gerettet werden.

Die deutsche Bank ist ein guter Kandidat für eine Insolvenz.

Bitcoin erreicht im Laufe des Jahres 30'000$.

Runde Jahreszahlen bringen bestimmt Volatilität in das ganze Geschehen 👌
Meine These für 2020,
wenn Trump an der Macht bleibt, holt er Mario D. in seinen Elfenbeinturm und der neue Spruch lautet dann: "Was auch immer er will", deswegen würde ich den Dollaranstieg mit einem Fragezeichen versehen.

Alle anderen Dinge klingen nicht unwahrscheinlich und bei den Kryptos will ich erst Tatsachen sehen.

  • selbst wenn er das macht, steigt der Dollar, weil alle anderen Zentralbanken (EZB, BoJ, PBOC) es noch weiter treiben werden. Und alle brauchen den Dollar.

Spannend wird es - davon gehe ich aus.

I hope not, as I only hold alts. The trend though seems to be in the favor of your forecast.

From what I know Deutsche Bank is on the edge of falling into insolvency.

Bitcoin hits $ 30,000 during the year.

I believe it will go even higher and I also have the feeling that when it fell from the next ATH it won't be that low as it did in 2017.

Ich füge mal ein paar Prophezeiungen von mir hinzu.

-Europameister wird Spanien
-Trump wird auf Grund eines Gehirntumors taub
-Putin wird von Jemanden aus den eigenen Reihen erschossen
-Bitcoin wird die 30.000$ (knapp) nicht erreichen

die politische lage zwischen russland und der nato spitzt sich weiter zu und nimmt dramatische formen an. da braut sich etwas gewaltiges zusammen. unser "großer freund" verlegt gerade gewaltige truppen nach deutschland und lässt sie gen osten maschieren und keiner bekommt es bei uns mit.
